On the 6th March the teachers were all ready to
have a busy day of swimming sports. We were all sorted at the pool in house
colours, blue, red, green and gold. Mr Peart (the boss of the day!) called out
everyone that was going to swim first. They blasted off and Miss Porter and
Steel gave out cards to those who came first, second, third and fourth.
We did races with freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and
butterfly as well as flutter board races and sculling races. It took over three
hours to get through all the races.
When the day was nearly over we had the relay races with
each house entering a team. Kowhai won the relay race.

It looks like you all had fun. Well done Kowhai, great swimming! Kahikatea, Kauri and Totara - you'll et 'em next time!
I think that it was great you used Smilebox to show photos from the day as well, really enjoyed not only reading about the event but seeing the pictures of it too.
